Research Triangle Park, N.C. — Kryosphere, a startup that plans to offer biostorage and other services, has landed $1 million in angel funding and debt financing, according to the Triangle Business Journal.
The company plans to open a 10,000 square foot facility in RTP later this spring.
According to its Web site, Kryosphere will offer what it calls “biorepository” as well as logistical and management services. The company says it will enable clients to “maintain and protect” biospecimen samples.
The facility will include 24-hour biometric card access security and video surveillance.
