Raleigh, N.C. — J. Scott Merrell, chief legal officer at RTI International since 2003, is joining Hutchison Law Group.
Merrell will be part of Hutchison’s Corporate Practice Group. In that role he will continue to work with RTI as counsel to RTI’s chief executive officer as well as the RTI board of governors.
“Our firm has represented RTI for a number of years and we have had the pleasure of working with and collaborating with Scott throughout this relationship,” said Fred Hutchison of Hutchison Law Group.
While at RTI, Merrell was part of its strategic investment committee and counsel of corporate ventures,
Merrell also is a senior lecturing fellow at Duke University’s law school.
