Hi, my 5 yr twin boys really want to play in snow. Is there any chance we will be getting some soon? If not, where is the closest place I can take them to play in some snow. Thank you so much.
MIKE MOSS SAYS: Heidi, The chances are becoming quite slim, although history shows us that we can't categorically rule out a sizable snow until we've reached about late March or early April. In the meantime, you might try some web searching for North Carolina and western Virginia ski resorts, which would be close enough for an overnight or a long day trip to play in some snow, albeit some of which may be manmade. Good luck!
